INDIE CREATOR LICENSE
For for-profit web content, brand and corporate video, indie games and apps, low-budget web series, and non-broadcast advertising. More room to work than Creator, still self-serve.
What you can do
Use the licensed track(s) across up to three concurrent finished projects per license purchase. This covers:
- For-profit web content and branded content
- Corporate and brand video
- Indie games and apps (as in-game/in-app audio)
- Low-budget web series
- Non-broadcast digital advertising (social ads, web banners, pre-roll on your own channels)
What’s not covered
- Broadcast, theatrical, or paid-streaming distribution — see the Broadcast tier
- National advertising campaigns — see the Broadcast tier
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the track itself
- Use beyond the three-project limit on a single purchase — license again, or step up to Commercial for unlimited in-house use
Duration & territory
Perpetual and worldwide once purchased — no renewal, no territory limit, within the three-project scope above.
Content ID protection
Tracks in the catalog can be whitelisted against Content ID claims through our distributor for licensed buyers — if a claim shows up on your video, get in touch with your order details and we’ll clear it. (This is a manual process for now; an automated on-site whitelisting flow is a possible future improvement, not something this license depends on.)
Delivery
Delivered as the same preview-quality files available on the site, unless a different format is agreed at checkout.
A note on this document
This page is written in plain English on purpose, but it’s still the legal terms that govern how someone can use a track they’ve licensed — so it should be reviewed by a lawyer before it goes live, as flagged on your own pre-build checklist. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
