“TREATMENT” SCORE TAKES BEST MUSIC AWARD
The score for Treatment picked up Best Music at this year’s festival run – a genuinely nice moment for a project that was built almost entirely around a single, sustained sense of unease.
ABOUT THE SCORE
Treatment called for restraint more than spectacle – long, patient cues that let a scene sit in discomfort rather than announcing where the tension was headed. That patience is apparently what stood out to the judges, and it is the same approach behind most of the darker corners of the Weary Pines catalog.
The title track and the rest of the score are available to license individually, the same as everything else in the vault.
