What license do I need to use one of your sound effects?
The same tiers as our music: Creator (from £9) covers one finished personal, hobby, student or small independent project. Indie Creator and Commercial scale up from there for for-profit or larger use – see the music FAQ pages for the full breakdown, the terms are identical.
Are your sound effects royalty-free the same way your music is?
Yes – same licensing model, same perpetual worldwide terms once purchased, no renewal and no expiry.
Can I mix your sound effects with music or SFX from other libraries in the same project?
Yes – nothing in the license restricts combining our sounds with other audio in your project, only reselling or redistributing the sound effect itself on its own.
Do I need to license each sound effect separately, or can I get the whole library at once?

What happens if a claim shows up on YouTube for a video using one of your sound effects?
Licensed sounds can be whitelisted against Content ID through our distributor, the same as our music. Get in touch with your order details and we will get it cleared.
Is this just jump-scare stingers, or does it include ambience and foley too?
Both – sudden stingers and impacts for jump-scare moments, plus ambience, drones and foley-style texture for building dread underneath a scene.
