What license covers a self-funded or festival feature or short film?
The Creator license (from £9/track) covers one finished project outright – personal, student and small independent film work, perpetual and worldwide once purchased.
Is a trailer cut from my film a separate license from the film itself?
A trailer cut from the same project you have already licensed the score for is covered under that same purchase. If you need the license before the final cut is locked, get in touch and we will sort out the details.
What if my film gets picked up for theatrical release or a streaming platform?
None of the three self-serve tiers cover broadcast, theatrical or paid-streaming distribution – that is a separate Broadcast / Film / Streaming license, quote-only rather than a fixed self-serve price. Get in touch once distribution is confirmed.
Can I use tracks from more than one Weary Pines collection across the same film?
Yes – nothing restricts you to a single pack. Pick whichever tracks fit each scene, across any collection, and license each one at the tier your project needs.Scoring more than a couple of tracks? Full Vault Access covers the entire catalog under one license.
What if a distributor or festival needs Content ID or rights clearance for the score?
Licensed tracks can be whitelisted against Content ID through our distributor – get in touch with your order details and we will help get it cleared.
Is this music written for one specific genre, or does it cover different kinds of dread?
It spans a range – synth-driven 80s dread, sparse ambient tension, full slasher chase energy – so it is worth previewing a few tracks below rather than assuming one mood fits your whole film.
