NEEDLE-DROP DREAD FOR YOUR NEXT EPISODE
True crime, paranormal, creepypasta, horror-adjacent interview shows – the shows that keep listeners up at night lean on the same slow-building dread a horror film uses. Weary Pines was built around exactly that: creeping underscore for the interview segments, stings for the reveal, drones for the silence. License it per project, starting at £9.
WHY PODCAST PRODUCERS COME TO US
Most royalty-free libraries are built for corporate video, not a 40-minute true crime deep dive – too bright, too neutral, or looping so obviously listeners notice. Weary Pines is written to sit under dialogue without fighting it, and to hold tension for as long as a segment needs.
A small or independent podcast is a Creator-tier use (from £9/track) – it covers one finished production outright, including a show monetized through ads or listener support. Running a for-profit or commissioned podcast operation with more than one show? Indie Creator and Commercial scale with you – see the FAQ below.

QUESTIONS PODCAST PRODUCERS ASK US
What license do I need for a self-produced or independent podcast?
The Creator license (from £9/track) explicitly covers small and independent podcasts as one finished production – including a show monetized through ads or listener support. It is perpetual and worldwide once purchased, with no renewal and no expiry.
My podcast earns ad revenue or Patreon-style support – do I still qualify for Creator?
Yes – the Creator tier is written to include content that earns platform ad revenue or viewer support, not just unmonetized hobby projects.
What if my podcast is picked up by a network, or becomes part of a larger syndicated deal?
None of the self-serve tiers cover reselling, redistributing or sublicensing the track itself, or use beyond your own company. If a network or syndication deal changes how the show is produced or distributed, get in touch and we will sort out the right terms.
Can I mix tracks from more than one Weary Pines collection across different episodes?
Yes – nothing restricts you to a single pack. Pick whichever tracks fit each episode, across any collection, and license each one at the tier your project needs.Scoring more than a couple of tracks? Full Vault Access covers the entire catalog under one license.
What happens if a claim shows up on Spotify or YouTube for my podcast’s audio or clips?
Licensed tracks can be whitelisted against Content ID through our distributor. If a claim shows up, get in touch with your order details and we will get it cleared.
Is this music too intense for a lighter true crime or interview show?
Not at all – the catalog spans from subtle, barely-there dread to full horror intensity, so it works whether your show sits closer to investigative journalism or straight horror.
NEED MORE THAN PODCAST CUES?
This page is a curated slice of a much bigger catalog – slashers, true crime, sci-fi dread, sound effects and more. If something calls for a different mood, it is probably already in the Vault.
